1    Project Kick-Off

  • Following the initial discovery process and under the terms outlined in the final executed Statement of Work, a Kick-off Call will be scheduled by your assigned Project Manager.
  • Upon the gathering of final requirements on the Kick-off call, the final requirements, project schedule, and high-level team structure will be established. This includes the Lead Instructional Designer and any SME / Outside Content Specialist(s) needed.

2    Information Architecture

  • Digital Producer and Creative Lead will work with a lead Instructional Designer to establish Content/Creative direction.
  • Content/Creative direction(s) will be presented to the client for selections and feedback.
  • After establishing the final Content/Creative direction, the Lead Instructional Designer will develop/oversee creation of storyboards.

3    Creative Design

  • Finalization of client-approved final creative direction.
  • Creative and Technical Lead(s) oversee product integration of all content, creative, and preliminary technical architecture.
  • Product technical architecture is reviewed and approved by client, and internally published to SI's project development team.

4    Development

  • Digital Producer and Technical Project Lead(s) oversee development of product.
  • Development team(s) are launched and present through Alpha, Beta, and Final products.
  • Client will review Alpha and Beta products respectively, offering feedback and revisions as necessary.

** As scaling increases during peak development months, additional Core Team and Expansion Team resources may be engaged.

5    Product Launch

  • All functional and technical testing is performed along with complete systems integration testing.
  • QA includes 3 rounds of functional, technical and integration testing during all 3 phases of release (Alpha, Beta & Final).

** If eLearning, one or more testing phases may take place in LMS testing environment.
