You Are Invited to my Wedding, here's Your Bill
I saw this article online and had to share it because in this day and age it is extremely hard for families alone to foot the bill for an entire wedding. I am not condoning or dissuading from this particular avenue, only uoi know your friends and family. But it is a growing option that I've heard of before.
l'express: "American couples are meeting the spiralling costs of weddings by asking their friends and guests for money. Crystal, toasters and other gifts are being shunned in favour of a bare-faced appeal for cash. “We are happy to invite you to our wedding. PS: Please bring your cheque book,” said one invitation from a couple who explained that they already had all the linen and household goods that they needed. No matter how startled they may be, friends are paying. "
Simply Interactive Receives Top Honors in the 2005 Videographer Awards
I am very happy to announce that for the 2005 Videographer Awards, Simply Interactive llc. is in the top 12% of entrants to win top honors in the form of an Award of Excellence. The video was shot and edited in January of this year and I finally caved in and submitted something to them for review.
I have had people ask me often why we do not enter more contests to win awards and the honest truth is that I don't have much time or interest. Seeing the Brides happy is an award in itself. To have someone tell me what my customers are already telling me by referring us to their friends means more to me than what a faceless judge tells me about the quality of my work.
Quality.
That's only part of our job. I'd like to get judged on customer service. Dedication to perfection. Going the extra mile.
But honestly, even though the awards are given based on it's individual merits I am still proud to say that we are among the top 12% in the industry judged by our peers.
And according to our customers, we are number 1 :-)
